The owners were cruising the Texas Gulf coast when Hurricane Harvey was called in, being Seattle based they did the safest thing and went ashore, docked their baby and flew home. After the storm had passed they returned to find Cavale dismasted and a little beat up. Like most sailors in this situation they wanted to rebuild their pride and joy. They decided to take her home for the long repair process. US Boat Haulers was contracted to transport Cavale the 1981 Cheoy Lee Offshore 44 from Hooking Bull Boatyard in Rockport TX, which sits on the Aransas Bay just north of Corpus Christi. I delivered this boat to Seaview Boatyard and Yacht services in NW Seattle WA which sits on the Shilshole Bay.
