Transporting Cruisers Yacht 560 Express
US Boat Haulers was contracted for a unique transport, A 2008 Cruisers Yacht 560 Express from Page AZ near Lake Powell to Marina Del Ray CA. The job needed the transport truck, 1 hot shot pick up and 2 pilot cars, all arrived on the morning of Tuesday to begin the transport. Gunsight Marine transport from Page AZ was needed to move the boat from Legacy Marine LLC (a boat service yard) to Page Steel Inc. (a crane yard) about 3 miles away, for 2 large cranes to load the boat onto the powerboat transport trailer. Page steel’s crane also lifted the top of the boat off and onto the hot shot truck. The loading finished up after dark on Tuesday evening, Wednesday we traveled 3/4 of the way to Marina Del Ray, and Thursday arriving at Windward Yacht Center by 12 noon, unloading went very well with the experienced and well-trained crew at Windward Yacht Yard. It was a pleasure working with Chris from the fist phone call I made to request a quote until he safely delivered our new Cruiser Yachts 560 Express from Page Arizona to Marina Del Rey California. Chris answered all my questions before hand and worked with me to organize and schedule the transport. The communication was extremely important to me and Chris made sure I was well informed throughout the process. He also sent me a GPS link of his trip which allowed me to monitor his exact location at all times and speed at which he was travelling.
On the day of the boat pickup there was a complication that delayed the start of the trip by one day. Chris was very understanding and personally helped in any way he could to resolve the issue. When it came time to billing, he did not charge me for the extra day as his contracts had allowed him to do so. He was a true gentleman in this regard.
