2001 Catalina 36MKII, Crane Load and Transport
US Boat Haulers provides just transport of your boat all the way up to full turn key services. On this Sailboat transport we provided the de-rigging, in water transport, the crane services, loading and Transport. The Catalina was kept at Rush Creek Yacht Club in Rockwall on Lake Ray Hubbard, Rush Creek Yacht Club does not provide service or lifting of any kind. The new owners asked me to provide all the required services to get the boat to Kemah. After de-rigging as much as possible at the Rush Creek Yacht Club’s dock I motored the boat to Chandlers Landing Marina where we would meet a crane to lower the mast, haul the boat out of the water and set it on the trailer. While working in North Texas I always call Davis Motor Crane Service of Irving. I chose to meet at Chandler’s Landing Marina in Rockwall because they have a large parking lot for the trucks, crane and support vehicle to meet and get the crane close to deep enough water. This boat was delivered to Southern Boatworks in Kemah TX, We work with them often deliver many boats to them over the years.
